Doris Henkel is a sports journalist and author of sports-related books. She covered tennis for almost forty years, the last thirty as a freelancer for newspapers and magazines mainly in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, including Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
