We polled the global Assouline team to uncover which cultural experiences they’re most excited for in the coming year. From the 19th Venice Biennale to the Oasis reunion concert at Wembley Stadium, add these events to your 2025 itinerary.

As the new year begins to unfold, we thought it best to enlist our international team to curate a lineup of 25 truly noteworthy upcoming events. Whether it's Paul Mescal on stage in Brooklyn in the iconic Tennessee Williams play, Carlo Ratti curating a masterful biennale in Venice, or David Bowie's archive en masse in London—we’ve highlighted the happenings that have most captured our attention. Join us as we explore the exhibitions, performances, and distinctive moments that we’re looking forward to in 2025.

The Louvre Fashion Exhibition, Paris, January-July

I can't wait for the Fashion exhibition at the Louvre next year! It's an incredible opportunity to see the intersection of art, history, and fashion within one of the most iconic cultural institutions in the world. —Eudoxie Nammour, PR Associate, Paris

The Louvre will be hosting its first ever exhibit on Fashion in the new year, looking at how classical art has influenced fashion designers over the years. Lincoln Road Play, Miami, January-February

I will be going to some plays next year, and the one I’m really looking forward to is in January in Miami Beach called Lincoln Road Hustle. The play takes place outside the theatre and around the shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road. —Alina Lerman, Sales, Bal Harbour

José de Ribera Exhibition, Paris, January-February

I'm going to visit the Ribera exhibition at the Petit Palais until the end of February 2025. I'm intrigued by this painter's artistic journey, and especially by the way he uses light and shadow to capture human emotions. —Irina Khalaeva, Sales Manager, Paris

Gabrielle Chanel Ballet, Dubai, January 15

Alvin Ailey Exhibition, New York City, January-February

I'm most excited to visit the Alvin Ailey exhibit at The Whitney Museum in NYC, which will be on display until early February. His legacy has always been so inspiring, and the art his dancers have created with his choreography transcends time. —Camille Segre, Partnerships Coordinator, New York

The Supercar Revolution, Miami, February

As a rare car enthusiast, I am looking forward to attending The Supercar Revolution in Miami in February—it’s the perfect time to escape the New York cold and take in views of incredible state-of-the-art vehicles under the Florida sun! A Streetcar Named Desire Revival Play, Brooklyn, February-April

Like everyone else, I'm a big fan of Paul Mescal. He recently starred in a revival of “A Streetcar Named Desire” in London’s West End, and next year it's running at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. —Maya Alfia, Ecommerce Assistant, New York

Mdou Moctar Concert, the U.S. and Canada, February

Music is my anchor, and I am excited to have a number of events already lining up in 2025. The upcoming acoustic set of Mdou Moctar and his band in New York in February is one of them. He is an incredible guitarist and songwriter from Nigeria. His roots are in Tuareg traditional music and western rock and blues. “Art is in the Street” Exhibition, Paris, March-July

I'm looking forward to visiting the "L'art est dans la rue" exhibition at the Musée d'Orsay, which will open in March and look back at Parisian posters from the nineteenth century. It is my favorite museum, and their exhibitions are always extremely well curated. Also, the exhibit is in partnership with the National French Library, so there will be a lot of exclusive pieces on display. —Léana Esch, Editor, New York

DOOM at the Park Avenue Armory, New York City, March

I love going to see a show when I have no idea what it’s about. It could be pretentious or it could be incredible, but I’m looking for something new, surprising, an ideally a bit dangerous. And the Park Avenue Armory, to me, is one of the last performance spaces where anything like that is possible. —Marc Einsele, Editorial Director, New York

The Venice Architecture Biennale, Venice, May-November

I’m looking forward to the 19th La Biennale di Venezia—the International Architecture Exhibit. The biennale calls architects from around the world to represent their countries with a pavilion. This year’s curation is by Italian architect Carlo Ratti (with offices in NYC, Torino, and London). Epidaurus Festival, Greece, May-August

One cultural event in Greece I’m most looking forward to next year is the Epidaurus Festival at the ancient Epidaurus Theatre. Known for its stunning acoustics and historical significance, this annual event showcases captivating performances of Greek tragedies and contemporary works. Attending a play in the open-air theater, surrounded by the beauty of the Peloponnesian landscape, feels like a journey back in time. It's an experience that seamlessly blends art, history, and a breathtaking natural setting, making it a cultural highlight I eagerly anticipate. —Marilena Patouni, Ecommerce Associate, New York

New York Philharmonic, New York City, June 3-7

I attend the NY Philharmonic concert in Central Park every year. It is my favorite event and falls around my birthday. I turn it into a whole production for my closest friends! The David Bowie Centre, London, September 13

I saw "David Bowie Is" at the Brooklyn Museum a few years ago. Featuring extensive archival material and all his amazing clothes, it was breathtaking. There is a new Bowie exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A)’s new East Storehouse location in London opening in May, and I'd love to see that. —Alev Kennedy, Senior Manager of Paid Media, New York

Materialists Film Premiere, Worldwide, No Official Release Date

Celine Song (the brilliant Korean director of Past Lives) will debut her sophomore film, Materialists, sometime in 2025. First off, anything A24 releases is pretty much guaranteed to be gold. The Twenty Two Club and Hotel, New York City, No Official Release Date

The Leeum Museum, Seoul, Year-Long

I'm excited to visit the Leeum Museum in Seoul this winter. I visit every time I am in Korea. The permanent collection carries some of the most iconic pieces from artists such as Cy Twombly, Kohei Nawa, Anish Kapoor, Horn Romi, and more.
